Join Charise Aragoza in a workshop guiding you through the process of touring as a musician. Covering everything from tech to riders, to staying healthy, Char will walk participants through the process of planning and going on tour in 2025.
Over the past 10 years, Char Aragoza has evolved from backup performer to frontperson. Her dance work with Toronto artists Maylee Todd and Phèdre laid the groundwork for her musical development while deepening her connection to the stage. She is now the bassist and lead vocalist of psych dream pop group Mother Tongues and acts as the primary keyboardist for Juno-nominated artist Luna Li. These projects have opened numerous doors in the world of touring, with experience that spans Canada, the US, Europe, and Asia. Through her art and community engagement, Char integrates her commitment to cultural representation and anti-oppression, drawing from her queer and diasporic Filipino identities to foster safe spaces for listeners and fellow artists.
