Originally founded in London, UK (2021), Four Winds Mahjong Club launched its Toronto Chapter in 2024 as an inclusive, volunteer-run community dedicated to teaching and playing mahjong with a new generation. Created in response to the growing need for EASEA (East and Southeast Asian) diasporic-centered third spaces, the club has quickly become Toronto’s largest mahjong social club, connecting people through the joy of this cultural tradition. While we primarily play Hong Kong–style mahjong, all regional variations are welcome.
