God's Mom is the collaboration of Canadian artist Bria Salmena with producer and filmmaker A. Matthews. Inspired by musical traditions rooted in Salmena's Italian heritage and Toronto's nightlife, the duo reimagine Salmena's ancestral vocal traditions into a distorted portrait of the present; full of mantras, fiery assertions, and personal confessions, often explicitly regarding womanhood.
